Homebrewers Of Peoria, founded in 1998, is a homebrewing club promoting the art and science of brewing. The business and homebrew tasting meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM at W.E. Sullivan's Irish Pub and Fare in Peoria Heights. Meetings are open to the public. The club also has a social dinner at restaurants with good food and good beer selections on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM; the location varies. Annually, we charter a bus to take a trip to a Midwestern brewing city; the bus trips are open to the public. We host a homebrew competition each November or December. Annual dues are $20, for couples $25.
